I love helping people

My name is Mayan Schraders. I am a professional and experienced counsellor. In my practice Counselling Palmerston North I love helping people feel happier and achieve more. My aim is to help you heal and grow so you can more fully embrace your life and your potential.

I am a member of the New Zealand Association of Counsellors (NZAC).

We are all unique and there is no ‘one size fits all’ answer to your situation. This is where my 25+ years of experience, training and skill in working with people really becomes important.

I will work with you to achieve your goals for success, whether that concerns great health and well-being, your personal and professional relationships, you’re particular career, dealing with your kids to be a really good parent, or any of these in conjunction with one another.


EFT-therapy

On of the tools I work with is EFT or Emotional Freedom Technique. It has been the most powerful technique I have worked with.

It allows people just like you to escape the confines of their emotional restrictions, and emerge as happier and more wholesome people.

Through EFT, I hope to give you a better understanding on how your emotions work, how they hold you back and the skills you need to maintain a better, healthier and happier you.
